I have a well-stocked glass studio in our garage (which is an old structure, probably built in the 1890’s). There’s a separate kiln room, which houses my custom built top-loading electric kiln. The interior dimensions of the kiln are 46″ x 28″ x 18″ deep. There are three elements that together put out 10,800 watts (I think that’s right). The rest of my studio contains a whole bunch of glass, two workbenches and a light table.
