Studio hire is open to all intermediate and advanced students who want to continue to develop their work under supervision. To attend these sessions, students must have participated in a basic fusing class and if they want to use the equipment, the cold-working class at Siju Glass or equivalent. Students are free to work on any creative glass project, provided they understand the basics.
Equipment includes sandblaster, diamond flatbed, belt sander, engraver, diamond saw. 2 flatbed and 1 front loading kiln. Various moulds also available. PPE and cutting tools are available as well.
Bullseye glass and hobby glass sheets 25 cm x 25 cm are available. The studio only uses Bullseye glass, so no other glass can be used.
