Kiln: SKUTT FIREBOX 14 (GLASS) Interior dimensions 15″x15″x6.5″ Max firing temp 1700F
Kiln is best for glass painting/fusing such as stained glass or jewelry. Great if you’re wanting to expand your skill set by playing around with a new medium, or working on some nice gifts, but don’t have the right kiln for glass work.
I live in Olympia near downtown. Kiln is located in my garage workshop. $40 per firing, $5 for kiln paper (you can also provide your own). Shelves are coated in kilnwash otherwise. Mold rental $5 per mold. Molds come coated in Zyp. Can accept molds if you provide, or you can rent some of mine.
Create your own firing schedule, or we can work together to decide on the right schedule for you project. Freezer space and flexible molds also available for rental if doing freeze and fuse projects. Contact for custom pricing based on individual need.
